In active response to the national “15th Five-Year Plan” and the science and technology development strategic layout of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Towngas Telecommunications Fixed Network Limited (“TGT”), Robohub (HK) Limited (“Robohub”), and Intech Services Company Limited (“Intech”) have officially signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement. Adhering to the principles of complementary advantages, mutual benefit, and long-term synergy, the three parties will launch all-around strategic cooperation in the field of “Embodied AI” (the innovative application combining artificial intelligence and intelligent robotics technology). Centering on the local Hong Kong market, the partnership aims to gradually expand into the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and overseas markets.

The three companies involved in this strategic cooperation all possess strong parent company backgrounds, providing solid industrial resources and technical support for the partnership. Among them, TGT is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited; Robohub is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jsmart Technologies Group Limited (listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 00567); and Intech is a subsidiary of KLN Logistics Group Limited (listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stock code: 0636).

The collaboration also received strong support from Mr. Edmund Yeung, Executive Director and CFO of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, and Ms. Catherine Wong, Head of Extended Business of The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited, who witnessed the signing ceremony, offered their congratulations, and provided guidance and valuable insights for future cooperative development. This fully demonstrates the Group’s high regard and strong support for this strategic cooperation.

In this partnership, the three parties will leverage their respective core advantages to create a powerful synergistic effect. TGT will build the critical foundation supporting the development of Embodied AI using its leading AI data centers and high-performance cloud computing power, providing secure, stable, and highly scalable technical support. Meanwhile, Robohub will drive continuous breakthroughs in innovative applications, drawing on its cutting-edge technical strength in Embodied AI and smart living solutions. Finally, Intech will provide strong support for achieving diverse application scenarios, relying on its deep experience in smart product logistics and professional after-sales service. By complementing each other’s strengths, the three parties will jointly accelerate the development of the Embodied AI industry in Hong Kong and promote the wide application of innovative technologies.

To ensure the efficient advancement of the collaboration, the three parties will establish a joint working group to coordinate various initiatives and deepen collaboration across multiple core areas. This includes promoting the R&D and industrial application of intelligent robots; fostering collaborative development across the entire industry chain—spanning R&D, manufacturing, scenario deployment, and logistics warehousing; and working together to build a competitive, one-stop robot service solution. At the same time, they will actively advance the development and application of Embodied AI data assets, providing strong support for continuous AI innovation and accelerating the large-scale deployment of innovative applications.

On the day of the ceremony, an intensive exhibition featured a variety of industry-leading, cutting-edge Embodied AI robot hardware equipment. The rich and comprehensive lineup encompassed six major product categories: humanoid interactive robots, industrial quadruped robots, wheeled-legged all-terrain robots, exoskeleton robots, commercial cleaning robots, and intelligent companion robots. Tailored to actual industrial demands, the exhibition area systematically displayed one-stop intelligent solutions suitable for scenarios such as R&D and education, business greeting and reception, factory equipment inspection, industrial human-power assistance, medical rehabilitation assistance, and commercial venue operation and maintenance. The product applications fully covered the civilian daily-use, commercial services, heavy industry, and elderly healthcare sectors. Live demonstrations and interactive experiences were opened on-site, allowing guests to intuitively observe product operation details up close and personally experience the cutting-edge technological breakthroughs and industrial implementation capabilities brought by the deep integration of AI and robotics.

Mr. Walter Ngan, General Manager of TGT, stated: “As artificial intelligence moves into a new stage of development, ‘Embodied AI’ is gradually reshaping the operational models of various industries. TGT is delighted to collaborate with Robohub and Intech to drive the integration of technology, computing power, and digital capabilities through cross-border synergy, and to deepen the development of application scenarios to unleash the greater potential of innovative technology.”

Mr. James Sun, Executive Director of Robohub, stated: “As the core platform under King’s Embodied AI Technology Group focusing on robotics R&D and scenario deployment, Robohub is committed to promoting the industrialization of Embodied AI. This strategic cooperation with TGT and Intech will co-create an integrated industrial system of R&D, application, logistics, and after-sales service. With the goal of building Hong Kong’s largest robotics showroom, we aim to provide one-stop display, leasing, sales, and training services for all sectors, constructing a complete Embodied AI ecosystem. Future developments will take Hong Kong as a starting point to accelerate scenario deployment, assist in the construction of Hong Kong as an international innovation and technology hub, and join hands to expand into the Greater Bay Area and global markets.”

Mr. Samuel Lau, Managing Director – Integrated Logistics of KLN, stated: “We are very pleased to enter into a strategic partnership with TGT and Robohub. Intech will leverage its expertise in smart product logistics to fully support the practical application of robots and provide one-stop professional after-sales services. We look forward to working with our partners to jointly promote the intelligent industrial upgrade of Hong Kong and the wider market.”

Looking ahead, the three parties will take Hong Kong as a starting point, continuously deepening their cooperation and expanding into the Greater Bay Area and international markets to accelerate the integration of Embodied AI technology with diverse industrial applications. This strategic cooperation not only injects new development momentum into related industries but will also further consolidate Hong Kong’s status as an international innovation and technology hub, opening up broader opportunities for the development of the I&T ecosystem.
